About These Terms

ComplianceReadiness.co is a brand operated by Arvion Ventures LLC. These Terms govern purchases and use of our digital templates, frameworks, workbooks, guides, and related resources.

The product description identifies the package, jurisdiction, version, file formats, and software requirements included in your purchase. The accompanying License and Use Information summarizes these Terms. If there is an inconsistency, the Terms of Use in effect at purchase govern, subject to applicable mandatory law.

Our materials are professional resources that require review and adaptation to the purchaser’s circumstances. They do not constitute professional advice or guarantee regulatory compliance.

Scope of Materials

  • We provide our templates and resources for educational, informational, and operational purposes only. They are designed to help you develop compliance, policy, and operational documents tailored to your organization’s needs.

  • Materials may include sample policies, templates, checklists, guides, and other content.

Purchaser Responsibility and Regulatory Disclaimer

  • You are responsible for determining applicable requirements, checking that regulatory references remain current, and tailoring the materials to your permissions, activities, products, services, customers, business model, risk profile, governance, policies, systems, and jurisdictions.

  • You must select appropriate monitoring coverage, testing frequencies, samples, evidence requirements, escalation and reporting arrangements. Review and approve customized materials through your governance process and update them as circumstances change.

  • Examples, ratings, suggested frequencies, sample sizes, testing procedures, control areas and completed entries are illustrative starting points. They are not assessments of your firm.

  • The materials provide general information and professional resources. They are not legal, regulatory, audit, accounting, tax, investment or other professional advice and do not replace advice from qualified professionals. Purchase or use does not create an advisory, consulting, or fiduciary relationship.

  • ComplianceReadiness.co and its products are not affiliated with, approved by, endorsed by, certified by or prescribed by the FCA, ESMA, any EU national competent authority, ASIC, AUSTRAC, AFCA, APRA or any other governmental, regulatory or industry authority. Regulatory references support the purchaser’s own assessment only.

License, Permitted Use and Intellectual Property

The purchaser receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license for the purchaser’s own professional activities or the internal activities of one organization. Purchase grants a right to use and customize the materials, not ownership of the original templates, structures, methodology, content, design, or examples.

Permitted use includes:

  • Downloading and retaining the purchased files.

  • Creating reasonable backup and working copies.

  • Customizing the materials and adding organization branding and firm-specific information.

  • Using the materials for authorized internal compliance, monitoring, testing, risk, remediation, governance, and reporting activities.

  • Sharing materials with authorized personnel and contractors who need access for the licensed organization’s purposes.

  • Providing completed records to auditors, advisers, or regulators where necessary.

You must not:

  • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish, donate or commercially transfer the materials.

  • Use one purchase across multiple legally separate organizations.

  • Upload the materials to public websites, public file-sharing services, marketplaces or template libraries.

  • Remove or obscure copyright, license or ownership notices, or claim authorship of the original materials.

  • Repackage the materials as a competing template, toolkit, subscription resource or training product.

  • Use the materials unlawfully or misrepresent their source or regulatory standing.

An individual purchase does not permit distribution to multiple employers, clients or organizations. A single-organization license does not automatically extend to parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, franchisees or other legally separate organizations.

Consultants using the templates as a client deliverable must ensure that the client has an applicable license or obtain separate written permission from https://www.compliancereadiness.co/. A separate license may be required for each client.

The original materials remain the intellectual property of Arvion Ventures LLC or its licensors. Purchasers retain ownership of firm-specific information they independently enter. Customization does not transfer ownership of the underlying materials.

Digital Delivery and Software Requirements

  • Products are delivered electronically in the formats stated in the product description. No physical product is shipped. Purchasers must provide an accurate email address and have the software required to open and edit the files.

  • For delivery or file-access problems, contact contact@compliancereadiness.co with your order number.

Versions, Updates and File Management

  • Your purchase covers the version supplied with your order unless the product description expressly states otherwise. Future product or regulatory updates are not guaranteed.

  • You remain responsible for monitoring regulatory developments and reviewing references before relying on them. Retain unchanged originals, use separately named working copies, and maintain appropriate access controls, backups and data protection arrangements.

Digital Downloads, Returns and Refunds

  • Our products are digital downloads. Please review the product description, jurisdiction, file formats, software requirements and license before purchasing.

  • Once downloading has begun, we do not offer voluntary returns, exchanges, cancellations or change-of-mind refunds, except where required by applicable law.

  • If your download is missing, inaccessible, corrupted or materially different from its description, contact contact@compliancereadiness.co with your order number and a description of the problem. We will investigate and provide appropriate assistance, which may include restoring download access, supplying a corrected file, or providing another remedy, including a refund where appropriate or legally required.

  • Where statutory cancellation rights apply to digital content, we will begin immediate supply only after obtaining the required express consent and acknowledgment. Those rights are lost only where the applicable legal conditions have been satisfied.

  • Nothing in this policy excludes or limits statutory rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Termination

  • We may suspend access or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms. Where the breach can reasonably be remedied, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy it before termination, unless immediate action is necessary to prevent unlawful use or protect our intellectual property.

  • Upon valid termination, your right to use the licensed materials ends. Accrued rights, payment obligations and provisions intended to survive termination remain in effect.

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

  • ALL MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

  • TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ARVION VENTURES LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE MATERIALS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

  • OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR DIRECT DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR ACCESS TO THE MATERIALS, IF ANY.

  • NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY, STATUTORY RIGHTS OR REMEDIES THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED. THE GOVERNING-LAW AND JURISDICTION PROVISIONS DO NOT OVERRIDE MANDATORY PROTECTIONS AVAILABLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

Indemnification

  • You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Arvion Ventures LLC, Compliance Readiness, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the materials, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

Changes to Materials and Terms

  • We may revise our materials and these Terms. Updated Terms will show a new effective date and apply to purchases made on or after that date.

  • Unless separately agreed or required by law, revised Terms do not alter the license granted under an earlier purchase. Updating or discontinuing a product does not, by itself, terminate a valid license to a previously purchased version.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Arvion Ventures LLC is organized, without regard to conflict of law principles.

  • Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that state, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, statutory rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. The governing-law and jurisdiction provisions do not override mandatory protections available under applicable law.
